Import this 3D model of a house into Sketchup and places several copies of it side by side, as if they were neighbouring houses along one side of a street. Then choose a view of the entire street that will be suitable for the animation specified below and export this view as a 2D image, into a JPG file called street.jpg. Save your Sketchup document into a file called street.skp. Start a new Sketchup document. Import this 3D model of a car into Sketchup and export, as a 2D image, some view of it that will be suitable for the animation described below. Import this image into Photoshop and replace by transparency all parts of the image except those which represent the car. Save the result as a PNG file called car.png. Use street.jpg and car.png in Final Cut to create an animation in which the car drives along the street. The movie should have a title and should include credits. Export your animation as a QuickTime movie called driving.mov. Convert the file driving.mov into a .flv file called driving.flv Place copies of street.skp, street.jpg, car.png, driving.flv into the directory called CS2508Test2, from where they will be uploaded immediately after the test session.
